Supporters rally in Kahalu'u with message, "Prevent outsiders from buying our homes"
The first official "Awa for Senate" campaign sign waving took place March 18th near the Hygienic Store in Kahalu'u. The Kahuku graduate wrote on Instagram saying, "We're just getting warmed up. The real work begins when we get in, starting with preventing outsiders from buying our homes."
Mahalo to all of those who showed up to wave, and everyone who showed their aloha while passing by.
Brenton currently signs waves every aloha Friday, most times by himself before going in to teach at school. He'll keep everyone informed about the next group sign waving event via his social media.
